Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how PromptSource LLC, doing business as Roadscue ("Roadscue," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the Roadscue website, mobile applications, and platform (collectively, the "Services"). Roadscue is organized under the laws of the State of Minnesota. While Minnesota law governs our relationship with you, this Policy is designed to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA"), and we voluntarily extend the privacy rights described below to all of our users, regardless of the state in which they reside. By accessing or using Roadscue, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Personal details such as name, email address, phone number, and location
- Vehicle-related information provided when requesting services
- Account information for customers and service providers
- Payment-related information when transactions are processed
- Usage data such as pages visited, device information, and interaction with the platform
How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and manage roadside assistance and mobile car services
- Connect customers with service providers
- Create and manage user accounts
- Process payments and service requests
- Improve platform performance, functionality, and user experience
- Communicate service updates, support messages, and important notices
Information Sharing
Roadscue may share information with:
- Service providers to fulfill service requests
- Payment processors (Stripe) to complete transactions
- Service partners and vendors who support platform operations, including hosting (Supabase / Lovable Cloud), messaging (Telnyx), and mapping (Google Maps)
- Legal authorities when required by law
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Data Security
Roadscue takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no online platform can guarantee complete security.
Cookies and Tracking
Roadscue may use cookies and similar technologies to improve website functionality, analyze usage, and enhance user experience. Users can manage cookie preferences through their browser settings.
User Rights (CCPA/CPRA — Extended to All Users)
Although Roadscue is based in Minnesota, we extend the following CCPA/CPRA rights to all of our users. You may have the right to:
- Access personal information held by Roadscue
- Request correction or deletion of personal data
- Withdraw consent where applicable
- Opt out of any future "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we currently do not engage in either)
- Non-discrimination for exercising these rights
Requests can be made by emailing privacy@roadscue.com, calling (866) 824-7172, or submitting our Account Deletion Request form. We will verify your identity before responding.
Third-Party Links
The Roadscue website may contain links to third-party websites. Roadscue is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites.
Data Retention
Personal information is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.
Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your Roadscue or Roadscuer account at any time from inside the app under Account → Delete account. You may also use our public Account Deletion Request form or email privacy@roadscue.com.
Once submitted, your request is flagged immediately and reviewed by our team. Your account is permanently deleted within 30 days, and you will receive an email confirmation when the deletion is complete. The following data is removed from our active systems:
- Your account profile (name, email, phone, password)
- Saved vehicles, contacts, addresses, and preferences
- Push notification tokens and device identifiers
- Chat messages, photos, and worksheets you submitted
- Referral history and reward balances (any unredeemed balance is forfeited)
What we must retain: records required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes — including invoices, payment records, and dispute history — are retained per applicable law, typically up to 7 years. Anonymized or aggregated analytics that cannot be linked back to you may also be retained.
SMS / Text Messaging Program (10DLC)
Roadscue operates an SMS messaging program for service updates, appointment alerts, dispatch notifications, ETA updates, payment links, verification codes, and account-related messages. By providing your mobile number and affirmatively agreeing to receive SMS, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Roadscue at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Message frequency varies based on your service activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel at any time. After replying STOP you will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS from the program until you opt in again.
No mobile information, phone numbers, or SMS opt-in data will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors who directly support Roadscue's SMS messaging program (such as our messaging platform provider Telnyx) is permitted solely to deliver the messages you have consented to receive. All other categories of sharing exclude mobile opt-in information.
Carriers (including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and their affiliates) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. For SMS-related questions, contact support@roadscue.com or call (866) 824-7172.
Changes to This Policy
Roadscue may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
